AppVerix Free Gifts: Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the Shopify merchant who installs the app) and AppVerix (“we”). By installing AppVerix Free Gifts you agree to them.
1. What the app does
The app lets you build free-gift campaigns (spend or quantity thresholds, up to three tiers, a fixed gift or a picker), adds the gift to the cart through a theme embed and discounts it through one automatic discount made with a Shopify Function. It does not change your orders after checkout and does not charge your customers for the app.
2. Price and billing
- One plan: $12.99 USD every 30 days with a 7-day free trial. Unlimited campaigns and orders. The price is not based on revenue or order volume.
- Shopify bills you on your Shopify invoice. We never see your card.
- To cancel, use Settings in the app or uninstall it. Shopify stops the charge. We don’t refund partial periods unless Shopify’s rules or the law require it.
- If we change the price we tell you at least 30 days before, and you approve the new charge in Shopify.
3. Your responsibilities
- The campaigns are yours. You are responsible for the thresholds and gifts you set, for having the gifts in stock, and for making sure your offer is lawful where you sell.
- Check your campaign with a test cart on your theme before you rely on it. Express checkout buttons can skip the cart page, and some custom cart drawers need a refresh.
- Don’t delete the “AppVerix Free Gifts” automatic discount in Shopify; the app recreates it when you save a campaign.
- Don’t use the app for anything illegal.
4. Data
How we handle data is in our Privacy Policy. We do not store personal data of your customers.
5. Availability and changes
We try to keep the app running but don’t promise it will never be down. Your store and checkout keep working if the embed or the Function cannot load; in that case the gift may not be added or may not be free, and the storefront script removes a gift that wasn’t discounted. We may change or improve features, and tell you in advance if we remove something you pay for.
6. Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
7. Ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling. We may suspend or end your use if you break these terms, with notice where reasonable. After you uninstall your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction, unless consumer or other mandatory law in your country says otherwise.
9. Data Processing Addendum
By installing the app you also agree to the AppVerix Data Processing Addendum. It explains how we process personal data for you as your processor, which subprocessors we use, our security measures, deletion and how we notify you of a breach. Our security and incident response policy is public.
